June 2025 5.00This was the perfect amount of space for our little family of 4. We were traveling with our sons aged 8 and 5. We enjoyed the local coffee shop, Red Kettle. And dined at the Nugget and Summerland cafe. This location is right next to highway 101 and the Amtrak train tracks, so it is on the nosier side although we did get used to it after the first night. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night with the kids looking out at the ocean and we played board games in the living room. Overall, we’re very happy and would stay here again!

May 2025 5.00Our stay was so peaceful. Although the property sits above a freeway, the view and quiet neighborhood made it very relaxing. The view was so incredibly beautiful, sunsets were gorgeous. I appreciated the closeness of this location to Santa Barbara but also that it wasn’t in the bustle of the city. It is exactly what you want when seeking a quiet getaway and vacation. This place is equipped with everything you’d need.

May 2025 4.50Value for money ocean view condo near Santa Barbara Positive: Fabulous ocean view condo, with exceptional, tasteful interiors. It was spotlessly clean , well equipped gourmet kitchen, large sized bedroom , bathroom & walk in closet. Negative: Traffic noise was present but the double glazed glass door took care of it while providing the expansive ocean view .

February 2025 4.00Brooke’s unit is lovely! The open floor plan, combined with the skylights, made the space feel even larger—bright, airy, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and when we had trouble figuring out how to lock the door, Brooke responded immediately, which we really appreciated. There were two downsides: The unit was absolutely spotless, so this isn’t about cleanliness. However, there was a strong animal-like odor when we first arrived. We’re not sure if a previous guest had a pet, but the scent was overpowering upon entry. We used Lysol, Febreze, and even opened a coffee pod to help eliminate it. The unit faces the interstate, and the traffic noise is constant, day and night. There was also nearby construction with loud concrete work, which, while not Brooke’s fault, was quite disruptive. Overall, we loved the unit and Brooke’s responsiveness. However, the interstate noise would likely prevent us from renting again.

February 2025 5.00Brooke was both communicative and thorough in her messaging. Non-intrusive and allowed us an extremely pleasant stay. Summerland is truly beautiful, rich with history and incredibly easy to get around. We would highly recommend Brooke’s place to anyone wishing to have a truly remarkable vacation on the California Coast!
