Summer Lillie #3

This was the perfect amount of space for our little family of 4. We were traveling with our sons aged 8 and 5. We enjoyed the local coffee shop, Red Kettle. And dined at the Nugget and Summerland cafe. This location is right next to highway 101 and the Amtrak train tracks, so it is on the nosier side although we did get used to it after the first night. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night with the kids looking out at the ocean and we played board games in the living room. Overall, we’re very happy and would stay here again!

Our stay was so peaceful. Although the property sits above a freeway, the view and quiet neighborhood made it very relaxing. The view was so incredibly beautiful, sunsets were gorgeous. I appreciated the closeness of this location to Santa Barbara but also that it wasn’t in the bustle of the city. It is exactly what you want when seeking a quiet getaway and vacation. This place is equipped with everything you’d need.

Value for money ocean view condo near Santa Barbara Positive: Fabulous ocean view condo, with exceptional, tasteful interiors. It was spotlessly clean , well equipped gourmet kitchen, large sized bedroom , bathroom & walk in closet. Negative: Traffic noise was present but the double glazed glass door took care of it while providing the expansive ocean view .

The place was great, sea view and well decorated but what made the stay special was Brooke herself, my friend forgot something in the apartment and she helped retrieving it and communication was flawless. Thanks again!

We were back for a second stay, and it was even better than the first time. We love this place- it is peaceful with nice views and close to everything. We will definitely be back again- it has become a home away from home!

What a wonderful place to stay for spring break! Very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely be booking again!

Brooke’s unit is lovely! The open floor plan, combined with the skylights, made the space feel even larger—bright, airy, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and when we had trouble figuring out how to lock the door, Brooke responded immediately, which we really appreciated. There were two downsides: The unit was absolutely spotless, so this isn’t about cleanliness. However, there was a strong animal-like odor when we first arrived. We’re not sure if a previous guest had a pet, but the scent was overpowering upon entry. We used Lysol, Febreze, and even opened a coffee pod to help eliminate it. The unit faces the interstate, and the traffic noise is constant, day and night. There was also nearby construction with loud concrete work, which, while not Brooke’s fault, was quite disruptive. Overall, we loved the unit and Brooke’s responsiveness. However, the interstate noise would likely prevent us from renting again.

Brooke was both communicative and thorough in her messaging. Non-intrusive and allowed us an extremely pleasant stay. Summerland is truly beautiful, rich with history and incredibly easy to get around. We would highly recommend Brooke’s place to anyone wishing to have a truly remarkable vacation on the California Coast!

Beautiful space, perfect location, nice view. You can hear the train at night, which may seem unpleasant to some, but it has its own beauty, we actually found it quite enchanting. Wonderful experience!

We had a really nice stay. Cute, clean, comfy bed and a nice open floor plan. As others have said, the 101 is close, but you forget about it when you realize you’re in a super cute town that is very walkable.

Great 1bedroom with ocean views! I enjoyed staying here while I moved my daughter back into UCSB. We had fun walking Summerland-exploring the shops, and restaurants. I would stay here again. The host is responsive and the unit is clean and well appointed.

This is one of our top favorite Santa Barbara area Airbnbs. The interior is gorgeous and the home included helpful amenities for our family (including 7yo and 1yo). My eldest loved sitting on the balcony (bundled up with his tablet lol). The ocean views were breathtaking. Each morning I walked to Red Kettle for coffee. We loved walking around Summerland and to Lookout Park. The covered parking was too tight for our vehicle but we always had available street parking in front of the property. Would love to stay here during a future trip.

Brooke was really great with communication before I booked and after I booked. We do not communicate during my stay really because I didn’t really need anything that wasn’t already provided for me at the Airbnb. It was a very beautiful location. Really made our pre-holiday festivities a great place to connect with friends. There is traffic noise, but if you close the doors, you don’t hear it.

We had a great stay in Summerland! The neighborhood is very quaint and charming with an incredible bookstore and coffee shop nearby. The unit was sunny, cozy, and very cute. With the windows closed, the highway noise isn’t noticeable. While we didn’t use the patio, we still enjoyed the sunshine and views through the big windows, which were great and pretty soundproof. A quick note that I wouldn’t recommend walking along the beach here. Better to drive a few minutes to Santa Barbara or Montecito to avoid the oil/tar! But we had a great time and we would definitely stay here again.

I got married this past weekend and stayed in Brooke’s Airbnb. The view of the ocean and the cute town of summerland made the best weekend even better! Would love to stay again!

Beautiful apartment. Awesome location. We loved walking through cute Summerland to go for our walks on the beach. The apartment is super clean, bright & airy. And the AC worked fantastic during the heatwave we had during our stay (90'F on the beach). As others mentioned - you are very close to the 101 fwy, but the sound with the great double-pane windows closed becomes white noise. Had a wonderful stay! Perfect for what we needed! Brooke and her husband were so attentive and available.

Brooke’s place was a gem. We enjoyed the spacious bed and ocean view. Brooke was communicative beforehand amd made check in a breeze. The 101 highway is close by but the French doors and windows do a fantastic job of keeping the noise out. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Very cute place. The pictures of unit are accurate. The unit is walking distance to the little community of Summerland and a 5–10-minute drive to Santa Barbara. Our only complaint would be that the 101 interstate runs in front of the unit. We would have loved to open up the windows and the sliding doors, but the noise from the traffic kept us from doing so. But the windows that are in unit do a great job of keeping the outside noise out! Brook was a fantastic host and quick to respond to any communication.

Great place for. Short get away. Bright and airy with ocean views. Well appointed and convenient location. We knew it was on Lillie and close to the 101 but it is fairly noisy with traffic if you want to keep the windows open for the ocean breeze. It didn’t bother us that much but should be aware if you are like us and like to sleep with the windows open during the summer time.

Brookes place was superb! Parking was fantastic. Great location! The Nugget pub is great and a walkable distance! Great local coffee shop and short drive to Santa Barbara. House was amazing, clean. Huge fridge freezer! Great cooking oven. We stayed for 2 nights and loved both nights there whilst travelling from San Diego to the North. Great pit stop and would highly recommend.

We loved Brooke’s place - had everything we needed and more. As a family of four, it was spacious and comfortable. We loved Summerland and Carpinteria - really beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay at Summer Lilly was perfect. We escaped the Arizona heat to a fabulous stay right by the ocean and 72 degree temps! Summerland is charming with exquisite shops and great food; the location of Summer Lilly was very convenient to many beaches, Montecito, Carpenteria and Santa Barbara. Small town charm with the Summerland beach right across the street. We loved it! Brooke and J.T. are delightful hosts and respond immediately to any questions.

Loved the location & ease to access! The views from the kitchen, living room & patio were just incredible. Comfy bedroom, gorgeous kitchen and bathroom.

This is a lovely place. Very comfortable bed, great views, nice fireplace, etc. The town is super cute with great food options that are all walking distance. The parking space was tight, but we really appreciated being able to charge our car with an outlet right there. My biggest issue was thinking I’d get to sit outside and listen to the ocean, but instead hearing constant 101 freeway noise. We used white noise on our phones at night to drown it out, and music during the day.

The place was great! Very clean and nicely furnished. Summerland is a cute town and though small, it has everything you need and in walking distance. Getting to Santa Barbara, Goleta, or wine country is only a short drive away. The only 2 drawbacks are that the 101 freeway is a bit loud (obviously outside of anyone's control), and during our stay one of the sets of electric blinds over the sliding glass door that looks out on to the ocean was not functioning. This place has a great view, so the blinds not opening was a bit of a bummer, but we were still able to enjoy the view when going outside on the balcony. Overall, it was a really nice stay

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in Summerland. The apartment is just as described, spacious, filled with light, and had a great ocean view. We especially appreciated the large comfortable bed, big bathroom, easy parking, and keyless entry. We’d definitely recommend!

Brooke’s place was clean and well appointed. It was the perfect spot for us to stay while we attended a wedding in the area. Looks just like the photos, and the view of the ocean is awesome. We would definitely stay there again!

Brooke's place was perfect for our quick trip to Summerland. The listing was spacious, clean and bright. The ocean views were a huge plus as well. Having dedicated parking was great but the spot is a little tight for larger vehicles but there was plenty of available street parking in front and behind of the unit so it was not an issue. We would come back again!

Just had the most amazing time at this Airbnb – had to share the love! The place was sparkling clean, making it super cozy and welcoming. And let’s talk about the location – close to cute restaurants like a few minutes walk and just a skip away from the beach. Waking up to that ocean view? Total game-changer! Seriously, the peace and serenity were off the charts. Loved the chill minimalist vibes too – stylish but so dang comfy. Huge shoutout to the host for creating such a pristine and rad space. We absolutely loved our short stay at Brooke's home. The location is perfect and the perfect home base for going to the beach, visiting wineries, or heading over to Santa Barbara. The place is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The fireplace was perfection after a long day exploring and made the entire home feel so cozy. Will definitely stay again!

Brooke’s home is superb! We found it last minute and fortunately one nite was available. She was super responsive, answered all our questions, and helped us feel really comfortable about our stay. We are familiar with Summerland and have rented a different home on Lillie Ave, so we know about the 101 and local road noise. We do not care however it is important to note, the windows on Brooke’s place block much of the road noise! The electric window shades are top notch and the French doors open to a deck area that overlooked the roads and the ocean!! The breeze was divine and fireplace a sweet treat. The home is beautifully decorated in minimalist style and beyond comfortable. We love Field and Fort, all shops in town and the winery tasting room. This is a really fantastic place and we will be back for sure!! Thank you, Brooke!

Brooke was a wonderful host. She was always responsive and gave great information about the house and location. This is a perfect place to stay while visiting Summerland and nearby areas like Monecitoand Santa Barbara. We will definitely come back.

Overall great stay. AC was down on our first day, but they were responsive to resolve that. Would have been nice if their ceiling fan worked, we also brought our own Apple TV. We didn’t stay inside much but would have been pretty bored without our Apple TV when we stayed in. Heavy freeway construction that brought a lot of traffic to our street. Location is beautiful and place is well kept. Walking distance to a wine tasting room and some places to eat. Happy with our overall stay

Brooke was an amazing host to our perfect weekend getaway! My friends and I loved the place — everything was so cute, cozy & clean, and the location was just perfect! So close to the beach and downtown Santa Barbara.

The condo is absolutely stunning. My husband and I, and our dog, had a wonderful stay and are already talking about coming back. The decor is perfect, it's spacious, and the kitchen has everything you need for a stay. The location in Summerland is close to Montecito and Santa Barbara and there are a number of restaurants and a winery in walking distance. The bed is very comfortable and the ocean view is fantastic. The only (very) minor complaint, and this is nothing Brooke can control, is that the condo overlooks the freeway which during the day is a bit noisy, but not a problem at night with the doors and windows closed. While we were there, construction was also occurring on the road by the condo, but that stopped by 10pm so did not disturb sleep, just makes it slightly unpleasant to leave the sliding doors open or enjoy coffee on the balcony. I'd absolutely stay at this condo again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Brooke was great to work with and very responsive

Perfect place with everything you need to be comfortable! We slept well and felt super relaxed. We were able to cook and felt we had everything we needed. Loved that we were able to bring our furry family. We always miss him on vacations. Glad the oil wipes were provided to remove the tar from the beach! Would love to come back!

Brooke is always quick to respond and truly cares about her guests. This was my second time staying here and it works well because it is easy to get to Montecito, Santa Barbara, and Ventura from here. There are great coffee shops in town and you can take a walk to the beach if you don’t mind walking under the freeway.

Really clean and beautiful space. The freeway makes it a little loud if you plan to enjoy the sound of waves. Also the door for the bathroom didn’t fully close but that was so minor still completely worth it! Also so close to energy cute summerland town you can walk to Definitely enjoyed our stay!

Amazing place to stay

This is my second time staying at Brooke’s apartment in Summerland and it was another wonderful experience. The space is tastefully decorated to compliment the balcony view of the ocean. It provides a luxury hotel feel at an affordable price and is within walking distance of all of the Summerland restaurants and stores. We loved our stay and anytime I’m visiting the Santa Barbara area this apartment will be my first choice to stay at.

I love staying here. The space is very clean and well decorated giving an instance sense of relaxation and luxury when you arrive. It is a large space compared to similarly priced options and very well equipped with anything you would need. The location is amazing, ocean views and walking distance to restaurants/shops and beautiful beaches. Brooke is especially prompt and friendly when answering any questions about booking or your stay. Looking forward to returning soon.

Brooke is a terrific host . The accommodations are spotless, furnishings are very nice, and location is very walkable to local restaraunts.

Our family of four had a wonderful visit at this Air BnB in Summerland. The place is upstairs and has a clean beachy decor vibe. We brought our e-bikes and enjoyed riding them around the community. Lots of antique & boutique shops to check out. The road is a bit noisy at times but the view is amazing!!

We had a bit of miscommunication upon check in and the unit wasn’t ready when we thought it would be. Brooke immediately took action and solved the problem. The unit is beautiful and well maintained. I recommend bringing a sound machine to dampen the sound of freeway traffic. The parking spot is a tight fit bit you can also park on the street. Brooke has great recommendations for local restaurants and the wifi is super responsive.

Absolutely loved this gorgeous place! It was perfectly clean, beautifully designed and decorated, had a lovely deck and Brooke was amazing to work with. Another bonus, the bed was so comfy! 10/10 recommend!

The apartment is bright and very airy with soaring ceilings. Lovely space. Note that it’s next to the freeway so can be noisy during the day. It’s very spacious and walkable you cute restaurants and interior shops of summerland.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights as part of a last minute getaway. The place was extremely comfortable and well decorated. We couldn't have been happier. The highway is very visible and can be heard even with doors/windows closed, but it really wasn't a problem for us. I could see it bothering some if you're looking for a very quiet stay. Parking for one vehicle was fairly easy. The immediate surrounding area is quiet, but enjoyable. A wine bar, some great pizza at Rusty's, and a cafe called Red Kettle that we enjoyed each morning. We will definitely consider staying again during future visits.

Brooke's place was comfortable and we had a good stay. We really enjoyed walking to the coffee shop, restaurants and stores near the apartment. We also enjoyed that it was close to the beach (~8-10 minutes walk). We had a fantastic stay in Summerland.

We loved staying here! It was walkable to cafe's and shops and the ocean view was a bonus! Even though it's right by the freeway, the double-paned glass windows muted the noise quite a lot. The apartment looked like it's been newly renovated with new appliances and it's beautifully decorated and very clean. Brooke was quick to respond with any questions. We definitely stay there again!

I cannot say enough good things about this listing. The pictures don't fully capture what a beautiful boho beach vibe this space provides. It was beautifully decorated, thoughtful touches and amenities, a balcony overlooking the ocean, and it's in a great location. A parking space is provided, but we found that if a car is parked next to you it is very tight so we opted to park on the street and didn't experience any issues. While Summerland is small, we thought there was enough to do for an enjoyable and peaceful day. We walked through Summerland and had breakfast at the Summerland Beach Cafe, stopped at the stores along the way and visited the bird sanctuary, went wine tasting at the Summerland winery, and ate pizza and wings from Rusty's pizza while watching a beautiful sunset from the balcony. If you're looking for a luxe stay for a great value, this is it!

We absolutely loved staying at here and couldn't believe how perfect it was. It is newly renovated and you can tell a lot of thought was put into every detail. The decoration is lovely, the layout is spacious with so much natural light, and everything is so comfortable. We will never pay for an overpriced hotel in Santa Barbara again, we will only stay here. Also, the town of Summerville is really cute! Thank you, Brooke! We will book again soon!
